Is this course suitable beginners in storyboarding?
Yes! If you already know how to draw then this will be suitable for you. The course is designed to guide you from foundational concepts to advanced techniques, making it perfect for both beginners and those looking to sharpen their skills.
How is this program different from a college degree in animation or a similar field?
This 6-month course is laser-focused on storyboarding. We dive deep into all the aspects of storyboarding and offer insights and connections you won't find in a traditional academic setting. Because I am currently working as a board artist, I can teach you the industry standards and practices that studios expect. The cost is less than a single semester of college and will save you thousands by enabling you to bypass expensive art schools.
Do I need any specific software or tools to participate in the course?
Every animation studio is digital now. You will need a Cintiq or equivalent pen interactive display. Ipad totally works. Photoshop and Toonboom are industry standards but not required for this class. Sketchbook Pro, Procreate or Clip Studio Pro are great alternatives. You need to be draw digitally..
